This past fall, the LAMA Lab had the pleasure of participating in two amazing community events: Mind Explorers and the Kids Passport Event. Both events were incredible opportunities to connect with families, share our research, and invite curious young minds to join our studies.
At Mind Explorers, hosted at the Hazel McCallion Central Library, kids and parents alike enjoyed engaging in hands-on activities and learning about our research on language, music, and cognitive development. The enthusiasm and energy of all the families we met made the day unforgettable!
The Kids Passport Event was another highlight, where we collaborated with other developmental labs under the Infant and Child Studies Centre here at UTM. Families explored a variety of fun, science-focused activities, and we were thrilled to recruit several excited young participants to join our ongoing studies.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our tables at both events. We can’t wait to work with all the incredible kids who signed up and to see you at future community events. Stay tuned for what’s next with the LAMA Lab!
